Reputable Hoodlum Information Security (RHIS) believes cybersecurity shouldn't be a luxury.

We're not a faceless corporation. We're an information security outfit in the Los Angeles area built on real-world experience and a commitment to protecting the people who actually need it.

RHIS was founded on the idea that everyone deserves real security, not just the big guys with endless budgets. We're here for small businesses, independent creators, and anyone who wants to take control of their digital and physical security.

We don't do fear-mongering. We don't sell snake oil. We don't waste time with corporate nonsense. What we do is cut through the bullshit and give people the tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves.

Lockpicking demonstrations & villages: We run interactive lockpicking events where people get hands-on experience learning the fundamentals of physical security and bypass techniques. These have been a hit at college cybersecurity fairs but we're open to running them anywhere — corporate team-building, your birthday party, whatever.
Privacy & OpSec education: Security isn't just about computers. We teach practical operational security (OpSec) strategies so you don't accidentally expose yourself online.
No-BS cybersecurity coaching: No degree, no cert, no CEU or CEE or whatever — just hard-earned, real-world knowledge. We don't just tell you what to do; we show you how to think like an attacker so you can better defend yourself.
Security & self-defense readiness: The world's changing, and a lot of people who never thought about personal security before are thinking about it now. We've recently been helping people — especially those people who've felt uncomfortable with these kinds of topics — get a realistic understanding of self-defense, situational awareness, and operational security.
